This Privacy Policy explains how Tracksmails, a click-tracking and performance measurement platform developed and operated by CAR N DRIVE PRIVATE LIMITED ("Tracksmails," "we," "us," or "our"), processes information when customers use the Tracksmails website, dashboard, tracking links, reporting tools, and server-to-server postback services.
This policy applies to information associated with Tracksmails accounts and to click, attribution, conversion, and postback data processed through Tracksmails on behalf of customers. Tracksmails is intended for business and professional use.
When a customer creates or manages a Tracksmails account, we may process names, business or company names, email addresses, account roles, authentication information, account status, subscription information, and related support communications. Passwords are stored using one-way password hashing rather than in plain text.
When a Tracksmails tracking URL is requested, we may process information needed to measure and attribute the request, including:
When Tracksmails receives or sends a conversion postback, we may process conversion status, transaction identifiers, payout, revenue, currency, associated click or advertising identifiers, delivery status, and diagnostic information used to operate and troubleshoot the postback.
If paid plans are enabled and a customer subscribes, payment-card information is processed by our payment processor rather than stored directly by Tracksmails. We may retain billing references, subscription status, amounts, dates, invoice or transaction references, and other records needed for account administration and accounting.
Tracksmails uses cookies and similar session mechanisms that are necessary to authenticate users, maintain secure sessions, protect forms, and operate account features. We do not use the Tracksmails session cookie to build cross-site advertising profiles.
We process information to:
Tracksmails supports transparent click-tracking configurations for Google Ads and other compatible advertising workflows. Tracksmails may receive Google advertising identifiers such as GCLID, GBRAID, and WBRAID, together with supported ValueTrack parameters, when a customer configures those values in a tracking template or when they are otherwise supplied with a tracking request.
For Tracksmails' transparent Google tracking route, the primary transparency parameter is redirect_url. The optional secondary control parameter force_transparent=true may also be present. A supported template format is:
The {lpurl} macro is a Google Ads ValueTrack macro. During normal Google Ads processing, Google populates it with the advertiser's Final URL. Tracksmails does not represent itself as Google and is not affiliated with Google merely because it supports Google Ads tracking parameters.
For account, billing, security, and direct customer relationship information, CAR N DRIVE PRIVATE LIMITED determines the purposes for which that information is processed. For click, conversion, and advertising data that customers configure Tracksmails to process on their behalf, the customer generally determines the campaigns, destinations, parameters, and partners involved, and Tracksmails acts as a service provider or processor where applicable.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that their use of Tracksmails, their advertising campaigns, landing pages, consent mechanisms, and data-sharing arrangements comply with applicable privacy laws and advertising-platform policies.
We do not sell Tracksmails account data or click-level tracking data.
Information may be shared in the following circumstances:
Retention periods may vary depending on account status, customer settings, contractual requirements, fraud-prevention needs, legal obligations, and operational requirements. Customers may configure or request deletion of certain data where the product and applicable law permit. We may retain limited records where necessary for security, dispute resolution, accounting, or legal compliance.
We use administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect Tracksmails information, including authenticated access controls, HTTPS transport, password hashing, tenant and role-based access restrictions, and security logging. No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security, and customers are responsible for protecting their credentials and access keys.
Tracksmails may process information in countries other than the country in which a user or advertising click originated, depending on our infrastructure and service providers. Where required, customers and Tracksmails are responsible for using lawful transfer mechanisms and safeguards appropriate to their respective roles.
Depending on applicable law and your relationship with Tracksmails, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, or information about certain personal data. If your information was processed through a Tracksmails customer's advertising campaign, we may need to refer the request to that customer because the customer controls the campaign and determines the relevant tracking configuration.
Privacy requests may be sent to cnd@carndrive.com.
Tracksmails is a business service and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly offer Tracksmails accounts to children.
We may update this Privacy Policy as the product, law, or our business practices change. The current version will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
